Reference 166.037 is a late-1960s automatic Seamaster Date, typically fitted with the caliber 565.
Measuring around 34 mm, it features central seconds and a date display at 3 o’clock.
Compared with earlier references such as the 166.020, the 166.037 benefits from the quick-set date function and exhibits a slightly more modern dial and case design, while retaining the refined and understated Seamaster identity.
