Reference 2709 is a late-1940s to early-1950s Omega dress watch, typically powered by the self-wind caliber 344.
With a case size generally around 35-36 mm, it is most often found in stainless steel or solid gold, such as the present pink gold example.
The model usually features a subsidiary seconds layout and elegant dial configurations, sometimes with applied indexes or mixed numeral layouts like this example.
It reflects Omega’s move toward larger, more assertive dress watches in the early 1950s.
