#20.521.xxx is a ST 105.003-63, the rarest reference of the 105.003s. It was produced in October 1964 and delivered in France.
His specificity is its extraordinarily rare grey dial, called “Grey Wide Minutes Scale”.
In addition to its specific matte grey colour – its sunburst finish indicates that it is unlikely to be a faded version of the original black – its main feature is the minutes scale of a larger diameter than those of the conventional dials, thus located farther towards the edge of the dial. This gives rise to two significant differences:
Furthermore, this example has only one “T” flanking “SWISS MADE” on the right. This T has probably added between the initial dial printing and the assembly of the watch, just as this marking became mandatory.
The watch is in very good condition, and is fitted with its original 7912/6 steel bracelet, and represents an extremely rare opportunity for any Speedmaster collector.

The Omega Speedmaster, born in 1957, is one of the most iconic wristwatches ever produced. Since 1965, it has been the choice of space programs for over half a century and has been associated with some of mankind’s greatest space adventures, earning it the name The Moonwatch.
Naturally, beyond its professional use for more than sixty years, the Speedmaster, with its incredible history and its timeless design, has appealed to a much wider public throughout the world.
The reference ST 105.003 is one of the most, if not the most significant Speedmaster. Indeed, it was the only survivor of the extreme NASA tests in 1964/65 to select the watch that would be flight-qualified for all manned space missions. References ST 105.003 accompanied astronauts during all the Gemini missions.
