OMEGA Seamaster 300
14755-61

Sold

In 1957, Omega introduced a trilogy of professional models: Speedmaster, Railmaster and Seamaster 300.

The Seamaster 300 is a diving watch that is waterproof to a depth of at least 200 meters. The first version, reference CK 2913, was produced from 1957 to 1961, replaced by the CK 14755 with the new caliber 552. The referencing system was modified in 1962, and the CK 14755 was renamed ST 165.014 and produced until 1967. In 1963, a new dial with larger indexes was introduced, but this year also marked the birth of a new asymmetric case line, to better integrate the crown and a larger bezel: this is reference ST 165.024, produced until 1970. In 1968, a version with date (reference ST 166.024) was added to the catalog.

Although the Seamaster 300 has been developed and marketed for professional use, its clean and simple design and perfect dimensions / proportions have attracted a much larger audience across the world and its popularity is still growing.

The present Seamaster 300, reference CK 14755 and serial 18.037.xxx, was produced in March 1962 and subsequently delivered new in Italy. All its parts are period correct, and its condition is very good, with a lot of patina. The letter strap is not original and negatively impact the global Watch Score, which is 8.7 plus an Extra Score of + 0.5 for the homogeneous patina of its parts.

Our WATCHFID Rating is 9.2.
