OMEGA CHRONOGRAPH
101.009-64

Private Collection Omega
Sold

Reference 101.009-64 is a mid-1960s Omega chronograph of moderate size (approximately 35 mm), powered by the manual-wind caliber 320. These models were available in both stainless steel and gold.
Housed in a yellow gold case, it features a two-register layout with a tachymeter scale.

Note the use of Arabic numerals for the hour markers, in contrast to the other 101.009 in the collection, which features more classical applied indexes. Another distinctive feature is the radial arrangement of the numerals within the subsidiary dials.

Produced alongside chronographs fitted with the caliber 321, which offered measurement up to 12 hours, the caliber 320 was designed for intervals of up to 30 minutes.
