#22.087.xxx has case reference 105.003-64, which is much rarer than the reference 105.003-65.

Its condition is very good and all its parts are conform.

Originally black, its dial turned to an intense and amazing brown color (called chocolate or tropical) due to oxidation of the black nickel alloy plating. This phenomenon is rare, especially with this uniform condition.

Furthermore, the bezel has turned into a faded grey color.

About the model

The Omega Speedmaster, born in 1957, is one of the most iconic wristwatches ever produced. Since 1965, it has been the choice of space programs for over half a century and has been associated with some of mankind’s greatest space adventures, earning it the name The Moonwatch.

Naturally, beyond its professional use for more than sixty years, the Speedmaster, with its incredible history and its timeless design, has appealed to a much wider public throughout the world.

The reference ST 105.003 is one of the most, if not the most significant Speedmaster. Indeed, it was the only survivor of the extreme NASA tests in 1964/65 to select the watch that would be flight-qualified for all manned space missions.

The reference ST 105.003 accompanied astronauts during all the Gemini missions.
