DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST WATCH?
Yes, I remember it clearly.
My first watch was a Poiray. I loved how elegant it felt, and I remember putting it on even when I didn’t have anywhere special to go. It was the first accessory that made me feel a little more grown up. I think that’s why I still have a soft spot for watches today: they can hold a memory as well as tell the time.
WHICH 3 WATCHES DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST ICONIC?
For me, the three most iconic watches are the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Cartier Tank and the Rolex Datejust.
The Royal Oak has such a distinctive design, the Tank is effortlessly elegant, and the Datejust is a timeless classic.
They each have a different personality, but I would recognise any of them instantly.
THE LAST WATCH YOU BOUGHT?
The last watch I bought was an Omega.
I love how it feels both elegant and easy to wear every day. It’s a watch I can dress up or down, and one I know I’ll enjoy wearing for years.
DO YOU GENERALLY LIKE VINTAGE ITEMS?
Yes, I love vintage items.
I’m drawn to pieces with character and a story behind them, especially watches and jewellery. I love imagining who wore them before me and the moments they’ve been part of. There’s something special about finding a piece that still feels beautiful years later.
APART FROM WATCHES, WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN INTERESTS?
I’m passionate about beauty, wellness and longevity. I love Pilates and strength training, and I’m always curious to discover new ways to feel good and take care of myself. I also love fashion, travelling and sharing good food and little adventures with my family.
Through my agency, I get to bring many of those interests together by creating experiences and connecting people.
WHICH ITEMS OR ACCESSORIES DO YOU ALWAYS TAKE WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE HOME?
My phone, my watch and my Oura Ring.
I love tech, especially when it helps me understand my sleep, activity and how I’m feeling.
The Oura Ring has become part of my everyday routine, and I like that it’s discreet enough to wear alongside my watch and jewellery.
A NOTEWORTHY ANECDOTE ASSOCIATED WITH ONE OF YOUR WATCHES?
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to attend the opening of an Omega boutique in Monaco.
The Prince of Monaco was there, which made the evening feel even more extraordinary. Being part of that moment and discovering the world of Omega up close remains one of my most memorable experiences in watchmaking.
Whenever I wear my Omega, it takes me back to Monaco.
IF YOU HIT THE JACKPOT IN THE LOTTERY, WHAT IS THE DREAM WATCH YOU WOULD BUY?
If I won the lottery, I’d buy an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in full gold.
I love its bold shape and the way the gold makes it feel like a piece of jewellery. It would definitely be my dream watch.
WHAT’S ON YOUR WRIST TODAY?
Today I’m wearing my Poiray, my very first watch.
It still has a special place in my heart, and I love coming back to it after all these years. It reminds me why I fell in love with watches in the first place.
A PLACE EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIFETIME?
Rio de Janeiro, especially for New Year’s Eve.
I’m Brazilian, so I may be biased, but celebrating on Copacabana Beach, surrounded by music, people dressed in white and fireworks over the ocean, is an experience I think everyone should have at least once.
IF YOU HAD A TELEPORTER, WHERE WOULD YOU SPEND THE NEXT 24 HOURS?
I’d go straight to Rio with my family.
We’d watch the sunrise over the city, spend the afternoon at the beach eating pão de queijo and açaí, and end the day with a long dinner together. Twenty-four hours would never be enough, but I’d enjoy every minute.
WHAT SINGLE PERSONAL ITEM WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE WITH YOU TO A DESERT ISLAND?
My phone, for the photos and videos of my two boys.
Even without a signal, I could look back at our little everyday moments whenever I missed them.
