FC: It was an anonymous brand with a design widely inspired by the ROLEX GMT Master (Coke) received as a gift by my grand mother when I was 12.
VC: When I was 9, my father offered me one of the first ladies’ SWATCH, the white one with golden stripes. It was like a treasure.
FC: PATEK PHILIPPE Ref. 1518 – the 1st perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch produced in series; AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak – designed by the genius Gerald Genta; and ROLEX Submariner – one of the best diving watch.
VC: ROLEX Daytona – since more than 50 years this watch is one of the most coveted piece; OMEGA Speedmaster – a watch with an incredible history; and JAEGER-LECOULTRE Reverso – a perfect combination of design and watchmaking.
FC: 25 years ago, as a watchmaker, I was very proud to be able to repair a Speedy Day-Date, in fact my first complicated wristwatch. This watch is now the property of my son, 13 years old: that is why he is now in love with Speedmasters.
VC: Years ago, a long time before ICONEEK, two of my dreamed watches were the ROLEX Explorer I (ref. 14270) and the PATEK PHILLIPE Twenty-4. I had the chance to receive both on the same day … 😉
FC: With my education, knowledge, passion and soul, I’m a vintage lover. However, I can more easily afford modern timepieces.
VC: It really depends on the model. If I can choose between an original vintage Speedmaster and a modern one, my choice will be for sure for the vintage one. But for a daily watch, I would feel more comfortable wearing a modern one, as I “live” with my watch and I’m not often very cautious.
FC: … because perfection is not when you can add something but more than when you have nothing to remove. A Speedy has a place in every collection.
VC: … as a former deputy manager of the OMEGA Boutique in Genève I have a special feeling with the brand and particularly with Speedmasters. For me they represent the most iconic chronograph still in production.
FC: Asymmetrical case, applied logo, caliber 321: ref. 105.012 or 145.012.
VC: In a modern version, my fav one is the first Snoopy edition.
FC: My harmonica to improve myself, without boring people!
VC: A photography with all the people I love.
FC: I call a financial advisor to ask him if he would enjoy a ride on a supercar 🙂
VC: Both! I buy a Ferrari La Ferrari to make my daily shopping, and then I call my advisor.
FC: On the Moon, with a Speedmaster ST 345.0809 of course.
VC: I would love to spend 24 hours on a white sand beach in Tahiti without any connection to the world … but only for 24 hours!
FC: Minimum 2 times a day when I put it on my wrist in the morning and when I leave it for the night.
VC: Some days, I don’t even look at my watch, but I feel naked if I don’t wear it.
