MOUNIA NASSER

I am an entrepreneur, a watch enthusiast, a triathlete and a climber. Above all, I am a proud mother. Despite coming from very humble beginnings, I have always believed that determination, hard work and passion can take you further than you ever imagined. Watches have accompanied me throughout my journey, often representing meaningful milestones in my life.

DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST WATCH?

Yes, I do. The first truly meaningful watch I bought was a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, which I purchased when I started working.

Given my life journey and my very humble beginnings, owning that watch brought me immense satisfaction. It represented much more than just a timepiece; it was proof that hard work, perseverance and determination can turn dreams into reality. To this day, it remains one of the watches closest to my heart.

WHICH 3 WATCHES DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST ICONIC?

For me, the three most iconic watches are:

– the stainless steel Rolex Daytona,

– the Patek Philippe World Time,

– the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface.

They all represent timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship and a strong identity that transcends generations.

THE LAST WATCH YOU BOUGHT?

A Patek Philippe, although that was quite a long time ago.

Since then, my priorities have changed, and most of my investments have happily shifted toward my daughter.

DO YOU GENERALLY LIKE VINTAGE ITEMS?

Absolutely! I love vintage items because they have history, character and authenticity.

They remind us that true quality stands the test of time. In a world that constantly pushes us towards the latest trend, I find beauty in objects that have evolved and remained relevant for decades.

APART FROM WATCHES, WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN INTERESTS?

Triathlon, climbing, and entrepreneurship.

WHICH ITEMS OR ACCESSORIES DO YOU ALWAYS TAKE WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE HOME?

All I need is my phone, a nice pair of shoes and my courage.

I have always loved beautiful shoes — they make everyday life more enjoyable and boost my confidence. Courage has also been my most valuable companion throughout my life. It has helped me to overcome obstacles, embrace opportunities and build the life I have today.

A NOTEWORTHY ANECDOTE ASSOCIATED WITH ONE OF YOUR WATCHES?

Not really, but one of my watches is actually older than me, yet it remains in remarkable condition. I find that inspiring — it proves that true craftsmanship can outlast generations.

IF YOU HIT THE JACKPOT IN THE LOTTERY, WHAT IS THE DREAM WATCH YOU WOULD BUY?

I don’t really dream of extravagance. Given my origins, I already feel incredibly fortunate to be where I am today.

That being said, if I could have any watch, it would probably be a diamond-set Patek Philippe World Time in rose or yellow gold. In my opinion, it is one of the most elegant watches ever made.

WHAT’S ON YOUR WRIST TODAY?

My Rolex Oyster Perpetual.

It is still my favourite watch to wear every day. Beyond its timeless design and versatility, it has special emotional significance as it was my first significant watch purchase. Whenever I wear it, I am reminded of how far I have come. I also enjoy customising it with different straps to suit my mood, which gives the watch a whole new look every time.

A PLACE EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIFETIME?

Welcome to Misterchrono! Just kidding!

I would say Morocco, for its hospitality, incredible food, rich culture and breathtaking landscapes. It’s a country that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who visits.

IF YOU HAD A TELEPORTER, WHERE WOULD YOU SPEND THE NEXT 24 HOURS?

In the future, I just want to make sure that everything turns out well for my daughter. The greatest peace of mind I could imagine would be knowing that she is happy and fulfilled.

WHAT SINGLE PERSONAL ITEM WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE WITH YOU TO A DESERT ISLAND?

A book.

There’s nothing quite like a good book to stimulate the imagination. It enables you to travel, dream, learn and escape, even when you are on your own.
